Effective layout

The basic layout of a web page generated with SiteGen usually consists of:

  • A banner at the top of the page, which has a logo and buttons for the main menu. The banner not only provides excellent functionality; it also gives your website its professional look.
  • The submenu is often displayed in the left side of the screen.
  • The rest of the pages filled with the available text and images. The remaining space (preferably as large as possible) is reserved for the content of the page.
  • The bottom of the page has a second menu bar, which provides further possibilities for navigation in the website.

Effective use of colours Your website's standard colours will be fixed in the SiteGen website template. This guarantees a consistent colour scheme in all of your pages. It goes without saying that it is possible to change your website's colours. Changing the colour scheme of your website does not require changes in its contents.
